Understanding ADHD and Sex with Dr. Lyne Piché

I first met Dr. Lyne Piché last year at the ADHD International Conference, and the topic of ADHD and sex has fascinated me ever since. Research shows that individuals with ADHD may engage in riskier sexual behaviors and often report lower levels of sexual satisfaction compared to those without ADHD. Beyond the studies, I’ve heard from many non-ADHD partners in forums—and even directly—who’ve shared their frustrations around their ADHD partner’s porn use and other intimacy challenges.

Because this is such a complex and important subject, I sat down with Dr. Piché to learn more about how ADHD impacts sex and relationships. Our conversation dives into what couples can expect, the common struggles ADHD brings to intimacy, and practical insights to help both partners navigate these challenges together.
